Original U.S. Flintlock Pistol in the French Style by C. Bird & Co. Philadelphia circa 1810 - 1820 Category_Martini-Henry Parts under the cylinderOriginal Item: Only One Available. Here we have a very nice U. S. made flintlock pistol, with a design that is very much in the French style of the period. The barrel is unmarked, and may be a French import, as it has the classic "two stage" half octagonal construction. The walnut stock has a lot of curl in the forestock area, and is the typical French style, with a flat bottom grip. It has an engraved trade lock marked: C. BIRD & CO PHILADA WARRANTED
