Two piece construction, in bronze gilt with red, white and green enamels, number impressed "10916" and city maker marked "" (Sofia) on the reverse, measuring 26. 7 mm (w) x 26. 8 mm (h), screwback, chipping evident in the red enamels on the shield, otherwise the enamels are intact, very fine. Footnote: The Military Order for Bravery was instituted on January 1, 1880 by Tsar Alexander I.
